We make what we think are the perfect bagels, a crisp and malty crust with a soft and chewy center. We bake our bagels in small batches throughout the day, so you are always getting the freshest possible product.
From day one, quality has been at the heart of everything we do. All bagels rise for over 24 hours and are made with a proprietary flour blend for a rich flavor and texture. They are then topped with only the finest ingredients including Samaki smoked lox, and Lancaster organic eggs, and solid dolphin safe albacore tuna.
This is how bagel making should be. Quality ingredients, expertly prepared.

Meet the Brothers Behind
Up-Ryes Bagel
Up-Ryes started long before the doors opened. Jared and Price Kushner grew up with a love of good food and even better bagels. Having always wanted to open a bagel shop together, the timing never quite worked out.
While Price was honing his skills in renowned San Francisco bakeries and Jared was rising through the ranks of acclaimed farm-to-table restaurants, the dream of opening a bagel shop never faded. In 2019, the timing was finally right, and the brothers came together to bring Up-Ryes Bagel to life.
Today, their passion for making great bagels hasn’t changed. Their focus on quality and tradition comes through in every hand-rolled, boiled, and baked bagel that is served to their customers.
I just moved to the area and have been having a hard time finding my go-to bagel place and I found it! I got a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel and the bagel was fresh, the eggs were fresh and they did not skimp on the bacon like some other places. The coffee was so fresh too! The staff were so nice and my order was ready quickly. I will be back!
